Soldier Bot Commission
A client in Kent wanted a memorial sculpture using old items following the death of a loved one.
This Soldier Bot measures Height – 90cm / Width / 40cm / Depth 40cm . Made from various items hung on a 10mm square bar welded steel frame. – Hat – Steel Colander – Head – Brass Exhaust manifold – Neck – brass pipe joint – Shoulders – flat steel bar – Epaulettes – 4 x combination lock dials – Rifle – Shotgun stock and fore end with metal kitchen implement at the tip and pressure gauge on stock – Body – Vintage coin operated gas meter salvages from a demolition in London. – Table is circular 2mm steel plate with half an original WW1 hand grenade. – Legs 25mm box section – Feet – split brake drum – Light – old metal torch . PAT tested light with braided cable.
