“The Knife Eagle is a community focused sculpture created for the Kent & Medway VRU to spark conversation, reflection, and education around knife crime. It is physically built from knives that have been surrendered, transforming objects associated with harm into a symbol of hope, commitment, and change. The sculpture is accompanied by a book of commitments and promises, where members of the public can reflect on the knives surrendered and pledge to reduce harm, stand against violence, and keep their community safer.”
